Possible Titles & Formats for Rachel's New Show

Wed Aug 20, 2008 at 06:21:39 AM PDT

Name that show. Right here. Let's give MSNBC smart advice from their key demographic: Liberal Spenders. And give Rachel (she's a "Only One Name Needed" now, isn't she? Oprah, Cher, Keith, Rachel...) the "help" she actual soliticted on last night's Countdown. Here's a start:

"Counter Balance"
- Where you only hear the real side of the news. All facts, no echo chamber,

"URL" - - Facts, Film, Investigations, Uncoverings and Truth-Telling straight from the blogoshere to you

Help Grannies Go Viral to Save Social Security - And expose McCain

Thu Aug 14, 2008 at 01:03:57 PM PDT

"Social Security is 73 - Will McCain Let it Reach 74?"

That's the subject line of an email you might want to encourage your grandparents to use to help protect their future.  Especially if they've retired to Florida. By helping create a viral email campaign, as part of the 73rd Social Security birthday protests being organized to fight John McCain's attacks.

My 78 year-old-mother and her pals love to gang forward endless emails. Perhaps yours do too? Here's something I wrote for my mom. Use it to create your own, tailor it to your seniors' interests.

Hillary's "baggage" unvetted by voters. Obama's has.

Wed May 14, 2008 at 06:37:09 PM PDT

The Republican's smeared Childers' Congressional run with nasty Wright-filled snarls from their '08 kitchen sink. And threw in plenty of "Liberal" and "Pelosi". Didn't work, as Obama noted today on the trail.

Doesn't this mean that Obama's "baggage" has been road-tested, again, just like in NC?  It doesn't matter to enough voters. Not even in Mississippi.

But Hillary Clinton's baggage has not been similiarly tested, by actual voters, under kitchen sink conditions, in this election cycle. No repugnant Hillary smears all over the airwaves. Shouldn't the Super delegates be thinking about who's "riskier"? The tested or the untested?

How Flag Pins Can Elect Clinton or McCain

Fri Apr 18, 2008 at 01:39:20 PM PDT

If Hillary Clinton puts on a flag pin, Obama loses.

If we Obama supporters fail to understand how sacred the flag is to most of this country, we deserve every elitist label flung at us. Over 4000 Americans have died for it in Iraq. And if we use flag pins to pull stunts lashing out at ABC, we are playing into the hands of Clinton and John McCain.

Say it loud: We are the Values Majority!

Wed Nov 03, 2004 at 09:07:50 AM PDT

We are the Values Majority.

And we have to start standing proud for those values. Start speaking from the heart, loudly. In emotional language. Calling ourselves the "Values Majority"

And waving the flag for our Values.

We value Diversity. We value Originality.

We value Discovery and Innovation.

We value Love, Tolerance and Community.

We value Peace.

We value Truth. We value Integrity. We value Honesty. We abhor manipulation and lies.

We value Debate, Discussion and Scholarship.

We believe every Human Life is sacred. That every living breathing person on this Earth is sacred. So we value diplomacy that saves lives. We value research and inquiry and open-mindedness that saves lives. We value reproductive freedom and the information and education about birth control that creates economic freedom for women, and saves lives.

We will educate the ignorant and manipulated. We will help bring peace to the hearts of the hate-filled so that more lives will be saved.

Take 2 Umbrellas to Rainy Polls

Mon Nov 01, 2004 at 07:55:45 AM PDT

If it's going to rain in your town tomorrow, take an extra umbrella to the polls. And help another voter stay dry in line.

Tell them "Kerry's Got You Covered".

Don't let rain discourage people from waiting for hours.

Even in the so-called "safe" states, every vote is vital. Big Kerry-Edwards popular vote is essential to stopping the Karl Rove post-election plan. He only needs an appearance of victory to start the litigation.

And he only has to keep the litigation going a couple of months before the Constitution kicks in and the choice goes to Congress.

So take an umbrella, some bottled water, and most of all smiles. Help people stay in line as long as it takes.  Stay after you vote, to encourage--and if it's raining--shelter others.

Remember to be calm, helpful and peaceful. Chaos is a Republican weapon.

Popular vote is how we can stop litigation.

And smile at Republicans, too. We can start the healing now.

Thu Oct 28, 2004 at 12:56:25 PM PDT

Lackawana County Board of Elections just changed 21 polling places around Scranton. (Yes, they're Republicans.)

10,000 to 15,000 Voters have to go to a new poll in order vote. And they don't know it.

The Board is going to send postcards that aren't even printed yet.

Chaos could reign on election day.

This is a vital GOTV alert in a vital state.

21 Precincts and 10-15,000 voters affected

People needed to stand at the old polls and convince people it's worth the drive to the new one.

The old polls will be closed. There will be no one there to take provisional ballots or even offer guidance.

If you can be in the Scranton area and help keep PA Blue on Nov 2 email:
AlanEGross@aol.com or Calyndha@aol.com

Put POLL GOTV in the subject line.
